Position Summary:

The Shooting Academy Assistant Manager will support the Leisure Operations Manager in all aspects of the facilities daily operations and administrative management, and will serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled to cover in the absence of Leisure Operations Manager. These duties include but are not limited to:  Shooting Sports, Food and Beverage, Indoor Recreation, Property Management and other activities and initiatives to be developed.  Position will ensure a culture and activities that are safe, fun, and memorable for all guests. 

Essential Functions:

  • Manage inspection of shooting grounds on a daily schedule and report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the Leisure Operations Manager. Supervise the cleanliness and safety of shooting area(s), traps, and overall grounds and verify their good working order. Report any unusual events, circumstances, or other safety or quality control issues to Leisure Operations Manager.

  • Collaborate with sales and all relevant departments regarding events. Coordinate with Shooting Academy staff to insure successful site/event preparation(s). This includes but it not limited to; rental firearms, ammunition, safety gear, waivers, golf carts, food and beverage, and shooting ground(s) preparation.

  • Schedule PT staff as required; help train new employees, and delegate assignments as needed.

  • Oversee Pro Shop stock and merchandising displays; assist in monitoring inventory, placing orders, and merchandising product.

  • Insure all daily POS requirements are fulfilled, and all necessary paperwork is submitted accurately and on-time.

  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of firearms inventory; this includes preparation and retention of all required FFL documentation.

  • Aid in building/maintaining brand standard while developing new offerings for guests. 

  • Help increase the number of visitors, revenue and sales.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Candidate Profile:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent relevant experience

  • A safe driving record, and a MO Class E driver’s license
