Position Summary: The Retail Warehouse is responsible for checking in, ticketing, & preparing retail product for delivery to multiple shops.  This position reports to the Director of Retail and works closely with the Buyer Assistant, and Shop managers.  This is a full time hourly position.

 

Essential Functions:

·         Strong Data Entry skills

·         Ability to learn a retail Merchandise System (Run It)

·         Accurate with a focus on Attention to Detail

·         Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form with the retail team and other departments.

·         Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills

·         Knowledge of basic warehouse procedures

·         Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency in an extremely fast paced environment

·         Ability to follow instructions and procedures

·         Effective time management skills, strong work ethic, integrity and a positive attitude

·         Physical ability to stand for extended periods; bend, stoop, and kneel frequently

·         Lift, carry and load 50 pounds (minimum) weight requirements.

·         Professional appearance and demeanor

·         Proven track record of being dependable and reliable

·         Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience - One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  High school diploma or equivalent.

Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills  - Must have basic computer skills, with the ability to learn new software in a timely manner; Point of Sale software experience a plus.

Other Skills and Abilities - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work well with a team, effectively prioritize, and proceed with a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.  Multi-tasking must be second nature.
