POSITION SUMMARY: Provide support to the Marina Operations Supervisor in the daily operation of the Marina facilities including the office buildings, docks, launch ramp, and marina equipment; ensures overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities; makes minor repairs to equipment and docks. This position is temporary, full-time, working 40 hours per week including weekends and holidays.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • 20% Provide exceptional, friendly service while assisting guests and fellow associates. Provide information on facilities, regulations and fishing and marine conditions
  • 20% Operate equipment to complete general maintenance tasks including dock positioning, rub rails, bumpers, light changing, power washing, etc.
  • 15% Maintain cleanliness and safety of marina docks, upland walkways, parking lots, pedestrian areas, Marina and Leasing Office, restrooms, and other designated areas
  • 5% Personal appearance must be clean, neat, well-groomed to BCL grooming standards
  • 15% Provide pump out services for tenants at Long Creek Marina
  • 15% Boat, vehicle, and trailer handling skills and operation
  • 5% Participate in weekly team meetings
  • 5% Perform other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned

 

 

 

 

 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

       Minimum Degree Required:  High School Diploma or GED

       Preferred Degree:  N/A

       Certificate(s) or License(s): Boat License (preferred)

       Experience:  Customer Service, Marina and Small Boat Operations
