Position Summary:
To handle administrative duties for the Golf Operations and Golf Course Maintenance departments as necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate with other departments on behalf of golf department leadership.
- Merge and route appropriate golf communiques to other departments within BCL & BPS.
- Respond to telephone inquiries and specifications for referral to golf department leadership.
- Greet vendors, direct them to appropriate locations and assist in meeting their needs.
- Adhere to standards of operations, policies, procedures, instructions, etc., generating and completing all necessary forms, correspondence, etc.
- Maintain a complete database of vendors, expense accounts and associates.
- Create PO’s for retail & expense purchases for Golf Ops and Golf Maintenance in accordance with BCL & BPS SOP’s; track the receipt of purchases and accrue appropriately if necessary.
- Perform in a manner that demonstrates the philosophies of Big Cedar Lodge.
- Type and distribute all correspondence, including proposals, letters, contracts, etc. for managers, ensuring that all correspondence is 100% accurate.
- Maintain vendor account files and ensure that all required historical information is included in files, i.e. accurate traces, daily-checklist, letters, emails, invoices etc
- Have working knowledge of all departments at BCL and the facility amenities.
- Liaise with other BCL departments to help ensure collaboration
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Remain current with all pertinent computer software programs and equipment relative to job – Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Springer-Miller, etc.

- Monitor payroll entries and adjust following associate and manager approvals.
Candidate Profile:
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 year degree in a related field preferred
- 2 years’ experience providing administrative support to executive or director level positions.
