Varies - Weekends Needed- Night Shift

Summary:  To clean and maintain public areas including restrooms, food  and beverage outlets, the spa, associate break areas, hallways, lobbies, offices and other guest areas.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1.  To clean the public space areas as outlined in the housekeeping

    manual and/or as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.

2.  Clean and maintain public restrooms, windows, ash urns, sidewalks, 

    food and beverage outlets, the spa, associate break areas, lobbies, 

    hallways, offices and other guest areas.

3.  Respond to guest request calls in a timely manner, during the shift. 

4.  Maintain an awareness of all safety procedures and guidelines as      

    they relate to guests and associates.

5.  Be knowledgeable of cleaning products and their proper uses with 

    safety awareness.

6.  Provide professional, friendly service to all guests.

7.  Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk up and down inclines and stairs     

    throughout the shift.

8.  Be at least 21 years old and able to get a Missouri "E" or Arkansas

    "P" designated driver's license.  

9.  Will perform other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Language Skills:  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  Must be at least 21, have a safe driving record and a Missouri class "E" or Arkansas "P" designated driver's license.

Other Skills and Abilities:  The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
