Position Summary:   To efficiently perform fabrication and forging procedures (both rough and finish) of steel and other metals working with minimal supervision. Manipulating metal creatively is an advantage. The ability to program and operate CNC machinery is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Construction or repair of all metal structures including gates, railings, furniture, and light fixtures (both interior and exterior), rough and finish decorative metal work with minimal or no supervision. Detail-oriented and focused, Metal Fabricator is capable of the following:

1. Prepare, fabricate and weld various metal fixtures and components.
2. Construction of jigs, dies and tooling to facilitate completion of projects. Work from patterns and blueprints, safely using a variety of tools and machines.
3. Must keep records of labor and materials used.
4. Accomplish the primary goal of creating and welding metal parts and assemblies to shop quality standards.
5. Use safe and proper procedures of metal fabrication and forging tools, equipment, repairs and construction techniques in accordance with local, state and OSHA requirements.
6. Ability to lift in excess of fifty pounds.
7. Prepare product for shipping by palletizing, crating, labeling and providing count and item description to the Metal Shop Foreman and / or Supervisor.
8. Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by management.

Work Hours: Mon-Thursday 10-hour days and willing to work overtime
