Summary:  To provide will oversee all of our corporate group activities, family reunion activities, and other private events booked through CSM’s or activities directly if not staying on property. 

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise group activities and implement environmentally oriented programs which are safe and fun for all participants
  • Oversee staff assisting with group events
  • Keep updated calendar of group events by working directly with CSM’s
  • Assist with the development, implementation and supervision of activities for guests throughout all major holidays
  • Enhance guests through enthusiasm and be able to work with little supervision. Must be able to speak to large groups
  • Assist in developing a monthly activity sheet to make guests aware of the activities available
  • Conduct, implement and follow up on group recreation activities
  • Help to develop ideas and programs which entice group activities for profit
  • Will perform other duties as required

 

Education and/or Experience                                                  

  • Event planning/organizational skills preferred
  • Supervisory experience perferred

Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills - Must have good computer skills and be comfortable with Micro Soft Word or Word Perfect software programs. Will assist with the development and data entry of brochures/flyers pertaining to holiday, monthly activities and Kid's Club/House activities.

 Other Skills and Abilities - The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.
